Hello! Today we made a comic thanks to the platform known as Pixton. Making a comic was a really helpful way to teach kids a lesson about sharks!
I will leave the comic here:

Hello everyone! Today we used the visual platform known as Mural in which we were able to focus on specific topics so that we could teach our students about it.
We mainly focused on two distinctive topics: Freshwater animals and saltwater animals.
I will leave two screenshots showing our work:
Hello everyone!
For today's lesson we learned how to do three different things in order to organize ourselves in a better way. The first thing that we did is use a platform called DOODLE that would help us orgnize oursleves when a meeting with people, could be parents as the example we used in our doodle, so we can check our schedules and decide a day that works for everyone. Right below I will leave a screenshot of how Doodle simplified for me deciding which date to choose for a meeting with the parents.
Afterwards, we used the tool that google provides for us called google form in which we could get the parents (as the example we used) to answer the questions we needed them to reply.
I will leave the link to the google form right here: https://forms.gle/27Lxnxhsw2bzNHkA7
Finally, the third task done today was learning how to use the platform named and known as WOOCLAP in which we can ask questions for our students, we could also call it an online quiz. I will leave here a screenshot of the question I made for my wooclap along with the code:
TYPE OF SHARKS
Hello everyone, today we learned how to create a Piktochart in orden to learn about something especifically. In the Piktochart created we focused on the distinctive type of sharks.
I will leave you the Piktochart here:
In this section of the blog we will talked about the new community that me and my peers have created. It is called "Marine class" and we decided to use classroom as the platform to keep on developing our online community focused on the marine matter!
I will leave here the link so you all can take a look at it: https://classroom.google.com/c/NjUxNDIyOTQ4MDM0
What is google classroom?
Google classroom is an online tool used by teachers to transition form physical classrooms to digital
ones. It is a free service, meaning that anyone can use this platform if they have a google account, it
has easy access and its a simple way to help engage students in an internet based platform.
Why did we choose google classroom?
Google classroom with its cut-edge technology has already helped many teachers across the globe
engage with students in a digital form while the COVID-19 pandemic was happening. It is easy to use
and teaches students how to navigate an internet site.
It is completely paperless, everything you need is there and assignments or other things are easy to
look for, saving a lot of time.
In my opinion, these online communities can really be helpful not only to kids but to anyone that is really interested on learning about something in specific, in this case the marine community. It provides you with videos, pictures, and files full with explanations and lessons about the topic of that community.
